Therefore, the majority of instrument workers should pay attention to various factors that cause electromagnetic flowmeter failure.
 
1. No display on electromagnetic flowmeter:
 
1. Check if the power is on;
2. Check whether the power fuse is intact;
3. Check whether the power supply voltage meets the requirements;
4. Check whether the monitor contrast adjustment can be adjusted and whether the adjustment is appropriate;
5. If the first three items mentioned above are normal, the fourth item cannot be adjusted. Please return the meter to the factory for repair.
 
Second, the electromagnetic flowmeter excitation alarm
 
1. Whether the excitation wiring EX1 and EX2 are open;
2. Whether the total resistance of the sensor excitation coil is less than 150Ω;
3. If both a and b are normal, the converter is faulty.
 
Three, empty tube alarm of electromagnetic flowmeter
 
1. Measure whether the fluid fills the sensor measuring tube;
2. Use a wire to short the converter signal input terminals SIG1, SIG2, and IGGND at three points. At this time, if the empty pipe alarm prompt is cancelled, the converter is normal. It may be that the measured fluid has a low conductivity or an empty pipe threshold and an empty pipe Incorrect range setting;
3. Check whether the signal wiring is correct;
4. Check whether the sensor electrode is normal;
① Make the flow rate zero, and observe that the conductivity should be less than 100%
② In the case of flow, the resistance of the terminals SIG1 and SIG2 to SIGGND should be less than 50KΩ (the medium is measured by water. It is best to use a pointer multimeter to measure, and you can see the charging and discharging circuit during the measurement).
5. Use a multimeter to measure the DC voltage between DS1 and DS2 should be less than 1V, otherwise the sensor electrodes are contaminated and should be cleaned.
 
Limitation alarm on electromagnetic flowmeter
 
The upper limit alarm indicates that both the output current and the output frequency (or pulse) are over the limit. Increasing the process range can cancel the upper limit alarm.
 
Five, limit alarm under the electromagnetic flowmeter
 
The lower limit alarm indicates that the output current and output frequency (or pulse) are both exceeded. Lowering the flow range can cancel the lower limit alarm.
